12.The proposed use will not generate any offensive odor,fumes, dust, noise or <br /> vibrations that will be a nuisance to neighboring properties. <br /> 13. The proposed use will not destroy any natural or scenic features. There are no <br /> known historical features of major significance on the subject property. <br /> 14.The proposed use,with conditions,will promote the prevention and control of <br /> ground and surface waters. <br /> And subject to the following Conditions: <br /> 1. The property shall maintain a neat and orderly appearance and free of inoperable <br /> equipment. <br /> 2. The property shall have no more than fifteen(15)shuttle buses,passenger vehicles, <br /> trailers, etc. or combination thereof parked outside. <br /> 3. All hazardous waste from the vehicle maintenance shall be stored and disposed in <br /> accordance with Minnesota Pollution Control Agency standards. <br /> 4. Signage shall be permitted by separate application. <br /> 5. All work on vehicles shall be conducted within an enclosed structure. <br /> 6. The existing vegetation along the north property line shall remain. <br /> All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> 3.3 David Marcum, d/b/a Bradow Dock Service,Applicant <br /> Applicant requests a Conditional Use Permit to allow dock and lift sales <br /> and service <br /> Application No. 22-06 <br /> Mr. Burslie explained the Staff Report. Applicant was present. <br /> Chair L. Larson asked Mr. Marcum what the business will be exactly conducting. Mr. <br /> Marcum stated that the majority of the work that will be done is assembling docks, <br /> storage of client docks within the fenced area and cleaning canopies for customers. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the conditions on the Conditional Use Permit. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT OPENED: <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT CLOSED. <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Ellering, seconded by <br /> Planning Commission Member E. Larson,to approve the Conditional Use <br /> Permit request to operate a dock and lift sales and service business in the <br /> Commercial zone,based on the following Findings of Fact: <br /> MINUTES 5 <br /> Pequot Lakes Planning Commission <br /> March 17, 2022 <br />
