January 28, 2008 Page 2 of 4 Pequot Lakes South Oak Street Proposal WSN proposes the following scope of services: Tasks 1. Gather existing field topographic and plat, R/W, and property line boundary data. We have a 1995 Landecker and Associates boundary survey of the School property, which we will use to assist us in the area of the School. 2. Prepare a preliminary street layout with thru lanes, parking lanes, ditching, and storm drainage systems 3. With the above preliminary layouts, calculate runoff amounts, hydraulics of storm sewer systems, and sizes of infiltration basins to handle the runoff. 4. Prepare a cost estimate of the above preliminary improvements. 5. Meet with the City Committee assigned to this project once and with the School District once to review the above information. 6. Update the above based on City and School District comments. 7. With the above improvements, prepare a Sketch and Description of a permanent easement. We would provide this Sketch and Description to the City Attorney to prepare the easement documents to forward to the School District. WSN proposes to perform the above tasks on an hourly basis, in accordance with the attached fee schedule, for an estimated cost of$14,500. As mentioned above, after we conclude these preliminary layouts, we would provide the following services: 8. Prepare Final Design & Construction Documents Prepare final plans, specifications, and an opinion of probable construction cost for City bidding purposes. Prepare Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Stormwater Permit as well as the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
