COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 6.3. Future Sale of Tax Forfeited Land—Patriot Avenue <br /> Ms. Bittner stated Crow Wing County would like to classify the subject tax <br /> forfeited property as" Non-Conservation" so it may be sold in the future at <br /> auction. She said they are requesting the City' s input on reclassifying and selling <br /> the subject property. She also stated the subject property is conforming in size, is <br /> 55,519 square feet, and is vacant. Ms. Bittner said the Planning Commission <br /> recommended the property be reclassified to"Non-Conservation"and be offered <br /> for sale but after this report was made it was found that this lot could potential be <br /> used for a future connection from Patriot Avenue to the Heart of the Good Life. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO NOT RECLASSIFY PARCEL <br /> NUMBER 29230501 TO "NON-CONSERVATION"AS THE CITY HAS AN <br /> INTEREST IN ACQUIRING THE PARCEL FOR A PUBLIC PURPOSE. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> 7. Fire <br /> 7.1. Fire Report <br /> The April 2022 Fire Department Report was received by the Council. <br /> 7.2. Tanker Update <br /> Fire Chief Tom Nelson informed the Council the tanker is currently in production <br /> with an expected completion date of May 20, 2022. He explained that it was a <br /> Midwest Fire stock truck and they wanted to make an upgrade to put electric <br /> valves on the tanker, the stock had manual levers. He believes it will make the <br /> truck safer. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SEILS MOVED TO APPROVE THE CHANGE ORDERS IN <br /> THE AMOUNT OF$11,175 WITH A FINAL PAYMENT AMOUNT OF $213,272 <br /> PAYABLE TO MIDWEST FIRE. COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. <br /> 8. Police <br /> 8.1 Police Department Monthly Report <br /> The March 2022 Police Department Monthly Report was received by Council. <br />
