City Council Minutes <br /> November 2,2021 <br /> Page 4 of 7 <br /> 8.1 Police <br /> The September 2021 Police Department Monthly Reports were received by <br /> Council. <br /> 8.2 Police Uniform Policy <br /> Mayor Gardner stated he and Council Member Ronning met during a personnel <br /> committee meeting and would like to see the City of Pequot Lakes Police <br /> Department Uniform Policy. Sergeant Franz stated he will provide the uniform <br /> policy to Mr. Spiczka for a personnel committee meeting. <br /> 9.1 Public Works Report <br /> The October 2021 Public Works Report was presented to the Council by Mr. <br /> Spiczka. <br /> 9.2. Request to hire Part-Time On-Call Public Works Staff <br /> Mr. Spiczka presented the staff report. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT MOVED TO APPROVE STAFF TO HIRE A <br /> PART-TIME/ON CALL PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE TO ASSIST WITH SNOW <br /> REMOVAL THIS WINTER. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.3. Wastewater Services <br /> Mr. Spiczka gave an overview of the Pine River Area Sanitation District(PRASD) <br /> contract and staff report. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RONNING MOVED TO ISSUE THE CITY'S 180-DAY <br /> NOTICE TO PRASD STATING WE ARE ENDING OUR CURRENT <br /> CONTRACT. COUNCIL MEMBER CLEMENT SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.4. Coleman Drive <br /> Mr. Houle presented the staff report. <br /> Mr. Fischer voiced his concerns about the public safety issues. Mr. Fischer <br /> stated he has had conversation with all property owners regarding the condition <br /> of Coleman Drive and all owners agree that something needs to be done to the <br /> road to improve the varying issues. <br />
