Hanover 763 - 497 -3777 <br />M <br />Melissa — Deputy Clerk (Daniel — City Administrator is on vacation) <br />Are you using a 4 -day work week? <br />Yes (7:00 am — 5:30 pm Monday — Thursday) <br />How long have you been doing the 4 -day work week? <br />1 year — It is still in a trial basis — They want to see how work loads change during the <br />different seasons. <br />Do you like it? <br />I love it. <br />Do employees like it? <br />Yes, they have 3 office employees and they all like having a 3 day week end. They can <br />make Doctor appointments on their day off and they can have a social life and more time <br />with family. <br />Have you seen any energy � avings? <br />Yes, Natural Gas gives them a history of prior year so they can compare cost and usage. <br />They had a $500 savings with just gas. Electric is harder to read so she did not have an <br />amount for that. <br />Public Feedback? <br />Their Council had them keep track when public came into City Hall as to what their <br />comments were and why they were there. The Public said they loved it also. It was so <br />nice being able to come to City Hall before or after their work day. She also stated that <br />people coming in for land use permits did not have a problem with them being closed on <br />Friday like they thought they might. <br />• They also found they have less sick time <br />• Employees are more productive. <br />
