Bayport 651- 275 -4404 <br />Are you using a 4 -dav work week? <br />Yes, (5 office staff) <br />Office is open 7:30am — 5:OOpm (9 1 /2hrs) <br />However, employees work 7:00 — 5:30(10hrs) Employees get % hour un -paid lunch. <br />They also allow employees to be flexible, start earlier or work later as long as there is no <br />overtime. <br />How long have you been doing the 4-day work week? <br />1 year <br />Do you like it? <br />Yes <br />Do employees like it? <br />All but one. The secretary can not work 10 hours so they let her work four 9 hour days <br />and then she has to go to the Police Dept for 4 hours. Police are located in a different area <br />of the building that is on a different heating unit so they are still able to shut down the <br />heat in the office area to save money. <br />Have you seen any energy savings? <br />Yes, will fax us something showing their savings <br />Public Feedback? <br />They have received positive feedback with the exception of 1 or 2 negative ones. <br />• They also looked at what the savings was to their staff. They have very long <br />commute times and figured a 20% savings. <br />• They also considered they were not generating any pollution that 5th day by not <br />driving. <br />
