')ther Business �11 Director O'Brien asked if there were any questions about the Contractor Policy that had gone out in the board packet. Mark Jurchen had reviewed it and felt it was acceptable. Oven Forum There was a discussion amongst many in the room about the `missing' channels on charter — they all agreed that 16,18,19,20 were no longer available. There was mention that one resident at Parkview was having difficulties with channel 27, but no others were. Mayor Adams took a moment to talk about a few topics: Library — Mayor Adams reminded people the that Library is open in its new location and she gave directions to get there Tax Increment Financing: Mayor Adams said that she has gotten many questions about what TIF is, and she took a few minutes to describe how it works, what it can be used for, and what it means to the cities tax base. Water Sewer Costs — Mayor Adams explained that the cities sewer and water costs are very high compared to other communities, and that brining in new users to the existing infrastructure can help lower those costs. Resident Lorraine Grabow thanked Shirlee for making sign up sheets for activities at Parkview Resident Edith Darval asked Mayor Adams about getting more benches on neighborhood streets, she enjoys walking to town, but would like more places to rest on her way there. Mayor Adams said she would check with Mike at the City to see if there were any more benches, but she believes they have all been put out. Mayor Adams also stated that they are working on replacing many of the `bobber' garbage cans at Trailside Park as they have rusted out.
