September 15, 2009 Minutes Housing & Redevelopment Authority Commissioners present: Peterson, Marchwick, Jurchen, Nagel. Also present: Director O'Brien, Assistant Director Anderson, Mayor Adams, Tenants 5:02 P.M Chairman Peterson called to order the regular meeting of the Housing Authority. Consent Agenda approved. M/ Marchwick S/ Nagel. All ayes motion carried. West Grove No business Sibley Terrace 5.1 Director O'Brien updated the board on the biding schedule for the kitchen remodel project. The ad will be in the paper for the next 2 weeks beginning September 17. The bid opening is scheduled for October 15, and the contractor walk thru is scheduled for September 29 from Sam —10am. 5.2 Director O'Brien updated the board on the 2009 Capital Fund. Hud is just now releasing these funds so we will be able to use part of the 2009 fund together with the Stimulus fund for the kitchen remodel project. The 2010 Capital Fund process is beginning with a tenant meeting on October 1 to get input from the residents about what they feel is needed. Parkview Director O'Brien informed the board that the cable has been installed in the community room at Parkview I, and that she has heard about trouble getting certain channels. Charter said that some channels are only viewable on a digital TV or with a converter box EVEN IF you have cable (this is since the digital conversion). Staff will try to get a new channel list from Charter. Alpine No business Executive Directors Report Director O'Brien presented information for 3 security deposit refunds: • Unit 204 Parkview II - refund cannot be calculated at this time as all bills have not been received.
