Parks• <br /> - emptied Garbage Cans, removed Bobber Pot Flowers and a few lesser used Garbage Cans <br /> -reworked soils on Flag Display Blvds and S Trailside Park area West of Beanhole Pits, spread starter <br /> fertilizer, then seeded/drug/watered over a week's time in an effort to establish grass in these areas. <br /> - Marked Curbstops in Trailside to help protect from Flag Installers <br /> - Veterans Flag Display Flags to be installed around October 5-7`�' (estimated)by Falls Flag Supply <br /> - Had 1 incidences of Vandalism in Trailside Park—Light poles on N Trail (prev. damage in shelter) <br /> - Bengsten Electric was contacted to perform several punch-list items requiring an electrician such as: <br /> Repairing storm damaged Community Sign Lights, Installing a Light for the Betsy Ross Flag. <br /> Other: <br /> - Cit�Message updates <br /> - Our annual Backflow Device Testing(as required by MN DOL) was conducted with Pike Plumbing. <br /> They were very helpful on all of our devices and I saved over$400 by selecting this more local <br /> provider this year too. We are going to follow up with a non-compliant device that was installed <br /> improperly years ago and in its current state is unable to be tested. Pike's will help repair. <br /> - I reached out to Coils Flags to request the 3 flags they'd already been paid for, but were unable to <br /> replace due to `slow supply chain' he claimed at the time. <br /> - Council meetin�&Prep <br /> *** I would like to recognize Shari Wilson & Mary Loven for all their ongoing efforts in making <br /> Dru Sjodin's Garden such a beautiful center-piece of our City Parks System. It really does a <br /> great job of honoring Dru and recognizing her beauty she brought to this community and life. <br /> (Council, please also see my recent correspondence with Shari as an example of how she is such a <br /> great volunteer in our community!) *** <br /> - Cemetery Cleanup, mowing, whipping.
