Administrative Fines <br />Chief Braam noted that the legislature recently passed a law that <br />authorizes municipalities to use administrative traffic citations for minor <br />traffic offenses. He noted that City Attorney Paul Sandelin has put <br />together the required resolutions and ordinances to implement the new <br />law. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 09 -22 <br />AUTHORIZING CITATIONS FOR CERTAIN TRAFFIC OFFENSES <br />PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES 169.999. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 09 -04 <br />AMENDMENT RELATING TO ADMINISTRATIVE CITATIONS. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5 -0. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT THE ORDINANCE <br />SUMMARY FOR ORDINANCE 09 -04 FOR PUBLICATION FOR <br />ADMINISTRATIVE FINES. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />9.1. WaterNVastewater Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />10. City_ Engineer <br />10.1. Trailside Estates <br />Tim Houle reviewed the correspondence regarding the shallow water main <br />issue located at the Trailside Estates plat. He noted that the developer has <br />submitted a time table for completing the project. The Council noted that <br />the grass was not noted in the time table. The Council noted that the grass <br />will have to be completed in the allotted time. Council Member Ryan <br />stated that the Council will take all legal remedies necessary for <br />completion and that the dates are hard dates and will not be changed. <br />
