City Council Minutes <br />July 7, 2009 <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />----------------------- - - - - -- <br />application with the City of Jenkins. Elissa provided a hand out showing <br />the targeted areas. She indicated that all property owners in the targeted <br />area would be contacted and invited to a public hearing. Elissa noted that <br />there must be an interest by the property owners in order to continue with <br />this process. <br />6. Planning and Zoning Department Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. Chuck Marohn presented the report. <br />6.1.A. After - the -Fact Permit Fee for Jason Laxen <br />Chuck Marohn presented the staff report. Chuck noted that Mr. Laxen has <br />requested that the fee be reduced to $50. He noted that the Planning <br />Commission is recommending that the Council reduce the after - the -fact <br />permit fee to $50 based on the Planning Commission's findings of fact. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO REDUCE THE AFTER - <br />THE -FACT PERMIT FEE TO $50 FOR JASON LAXEN BASED ON THE <br />FINDINGS OF FACT LISTED BY THE PLANNING COMMITTION. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5 -0. <br />6.1.B. After - the -Fact Permit Fee for Lonesome Cottage <br />Chuck Marohn explained that this item was mistakenly put on the agenda. <br />He indicated that there had been no appeal made to the Planning <br />Commission, therefore, no action is required. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO REMOVE 6.113 FROM THE <br />AGENDA. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />Chuck Marohn indicated that the Comp Plan kick -off would be on July <br />23rd. <br />6.2. Wellhead Annual Report <br />Report presented by Dawn Bittner. <br />7. Fire Department Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />8. Police Department Monthly Report <br />
