City Council Minutes <br />June 2, 2009 <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />the Council on the financial situation of the City and the unknown <br />revenues from State aid and levy settlements. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ACCEPT THE BID FROM <br />TRI -CITY PAVING IN THE AMOUNT OF $349,652.29 FOR STREET <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO WEST WOODMAN AND WEST BUTLER <br />STREETS, NICKEL ROAD, AND WEST TWIN LAKE ROAD. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED <br />4 -1. MAYOR ADAMS OPPOSED. <br />Mayor Adams opposed due to the uncertainty of 2009 State Aid and Levy <br />Settlements. <br />10. City Engineer <br />10.1. Consider Bids for West Woodman and West Butler <br />Council action occurred within Item 9.5. <br />10.2. Verbal Update on South Oak Project <br />1%-1 Tim Houle provided an update on the South Oak Street Project. <br />10.3. Verbal Update on Trailside Estates <br />Tim Houle updated the Council on Trailside Estates. <br />11. Clerk's Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />11.1. Call Special Meeting for August 11tH <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL BUDGET <br />WORK SESSION FOR AUGUST 11, 2009, AT 6:00 P.M. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5- <br />0. <br />11.2. Consider Liquor Licenses <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE ALL LIQUOR <br />LICENSES LISTED IN CLERK'S REPORT CONTINGENT ON <br />RECEIVING ALL APPLICATION DATA AND FEES. COUNCIL <br />�.
