TAYPAYER'S NAME: David Kennedy <br />PROPERTY ID: 291370010030009 <br />MARKET VALUE: $385,300 <br />TAYPAYER'S COMMENTS: Taxpayer stated he purchased the property <br />on April 17, 2009. The property was first on the market for $374,900 then <br />reduced to $279,900 and sold for $275,000. Taxpayer stated that he did <br />not feel that the market value should be greater than $279,900 due to <br />some substandard building issues that he will have to deal with. <br />`-' ASSESSOR'S COMMENTS: The Assessor offered to do a review of the <br />property to note the substandard issues. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO HAVE ASSESSOR <br />COMPLETE AN ON SITE REVIEW OF THE PROPERTY AND TO MAKE <br />ANY NECESSARY CHANGES. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Council Member Ryan stated that the council should take action based on <br />the appraisal. <br />David Kennedy (Taxpayer) stated that the property has been exposed to <br />the market for a year and that the specific conditions of the house are not <br />relevant. He noted that what is relevant is the amount of time that this <br />home was on the market. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION TO <br />REDUCE THE MARKET VALUE TO $279,900. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />NAGEL SECONDED THE AMENDMENT. <br />AMENDMENT CARRIED 5 -0. <br />`-- MOTION CARRIED AS AMENDED 5 -0. <br />
