Taxpayer states that there is a hole in the middle of the lots. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO AUTHORIZE A REVIEW BY THE ASSESSOR. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. 2. Dean Markuson — Parcel ID# 29102002001a009 — Market Value - $25,000. Taxpayer states that the market value is too high. Assessor noted that the property was recently purchased for $45,000. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO MAKE NO CHANGE TO THE MARKET VALUE. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. 3. Jason Bolz — Parcel ID# 29107008001z009 — Market value - $110,400 — Recently refinanced and had an appraisal at $102,000. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ADJUST THE MARKET VALUE TO $107,100. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. 4. Donna Abear — Market Value - $186,600. Recent appraisal came in at $150,000 — duplex. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO REDUCE THE MARKET VALUE TO $165,900. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. 5. What's the Big Deal, Brad Noyes — Market Value - $204,300 — Property ID# 29106002004G889. The Assessor noted that the residential classification has been removed because the place had not been rented for a period of time. The taxpayer is requesting a reclassification and a reduction in market value. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA MOVED TO DO AN ON -SITE REVIEW OF THE PROPERTY AND TO RECLASSIFY THE PROPERTY TO A SPLIT CLASSIFICATION AND THAT NO ACTION BE TAKEN ON THE REQUEST FOR A REDUCTION IN MARKET VALUE. MAYOR ADAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0.
