Had to have Fyle's thaw the line.
•
Lance and I jetted on West Grove St. from North Heath up to Biley's home, to take care of any
potential ice in the line.
•
Lance and I used the Tanker to flush the sewer main on Oriole St. and Alley behind Silver Creek
Traders because when I checked the manhole, it looked sluggish. We also flushed the line at
Biley's again because I notice some ice building up in the line when I checked that manhole.
Flushing took care of them both.
•
On the 13'', Richard Markham's sewer was backing up (30614 Ray Ave.) Lance and I ran the
jetter hose up the line, but it kept getting stuck. We had to plow a path and run it up the other
direction. Eventually, the standing water in the manhole by Ray Wolkenhauer's (30592 Rae
Ave.) started going down. We pulled out a few roots from the line. We had Jeremy Fyle come
out to see if he could televise the line to ensure it was just the roots causing problems, but there
was too much water in the line for the camera to see anything. Kurt and I ran the jetter hose up
the line one more time from the north manhole and got a LOT more roots out. I've been
checking the manholes every so often now, and things seem to be working fine.
•
On the 17'', Ramona Morrison's (3884 West Grove St.) sewer service froze up. Lance and I
flushed our sewer main with the Tanker and our line was clear.
•
Also, on the 17`h, Eric with Hawkins Company calibrated our gas monitor.
•
On the 18th, Bonnie Olander's (31392 Front St.) sewer was backing up. Lance and I flushed the
line with the Tanker and all was clear.
•
Called Ritter & Ritter to get another quote on manhole rehabilitation out at the sewer ponds.
