We
understand the City will/ may also be undertaking a Traffic Study, which will include looking
at the geometrics (i.e. need for turn lanes)and control ("Stop" configurations) of this
intersection.
We will discuss with the City should the Traffic Study present something significantly
different than the effort we are anticipating in this proposal.
Storm Drainage:
Collecting and infiltrating /treating storm drainage presents challenging decisions on this
project.
Our proposal is based on making grades and slopes work such that we will be able to direct
the storm drainage from the southerly two blocks through the northerly finro blocks and then
to the east`behind' the water treatment plant to an existing low area on City property for
infiltrating. This low area will need to be excavated to provide more volume. Using property
the City already owns will help in the economics of handling stormwater.
f:ninrnn Aihuctinr Sunein Enuunmental
