MOTION <br />CARRIED 5 -0. <br />10. City Engineer <br />10.1. Feasibility Report for North Sleutter Road Improvements <br />Tim Houle presented the feasibility report for improvements to a portion of <br />North Sleutter Road. The Council discussed the report. It was noted that if <br />the Council moves forward with the project, the timing of the project could <br />work in conjunction with the December public hearing for the Wildlife Trail <br />project. Tim Houle requested Council to review both reports (Wildlife Trail <br />and North Sleutter Road). He stated that some of the issues to be <br />discussed should include how to combine the two projects and have a <br />special assessment approach that is fair and consistent to all, whether or <br />not the City should accept a private road or pave a road that is partially <br />located in another township? <br />`— Council Member Malecha questioned if the City should use our taxpayer <br />money on a road in another township. Tim Houle stated that there is no <br />legal authority to special assess someone outside of our jurisdiction. <br />Discussion was held regarding whether the City has the authority to pave <br />a road in another township. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION <br />10 -27 RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE NORTH SLEUTTER ROAD <br />IMPROVEMENT. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />11.3A. Consider Request for Donations from Central Minnesota Initiative <br />Foundation <br />The Council requested to receive information regarding this request. The <br />Clerk stated that she would provide the information at the November <br />Council Meeting. <br />11.3B. Consider Request for Donations from First Responders <br />IWI <br />
