Mr. Houle suggested the next step should be an Open House to discuss the plan with residents and businesses and gather , feedback from them. � Council consensus was to direct Staff to move forward with scheduling an Open House within the next month or two to present the Rasmussen Road Study to include the information on the costs and how it will be funded. ; 9.5. Street 8� Utilitv Improvements Proiect Bids ' Tim Houle recommended rejecting the Street& Utility Improvement Project Bids that were opened on August 3, 2018 as the City is currently waiting on the quit claim deeds from MnDOT for the Patriot Avenue road , tumback which relates to this Project area. i � COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO REJECT ALL BIDS FOR ' THE SIBLEY STREET AND TRAILSIDE PARK ROAD 8� UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. Administration The following items were received by Council. �� • September 13, 2018 draft Park Commission minutes '� • September 18, 2018 draft EDC minutes �I • September 18, 2018 HRA minutes 10.1. 2019 Preliminarv Budc�et Council Member Pederson suggested a special meeting to discuss the Preliminary Budget in more detail and added he has come up with approximately $35,000 to $50,000 that he feels could be eliminated from the Budget. Nancy Malecha suggested scheduling a special meeting before the '�, November Council meeting. ', Mayor Adams directed the Council Members to submit any changes they have for the Budget to Nancy Malecha by the end of October so she may include them on the agenda for the Special City Council meeting to be held before the November City Council meeting.
