City Council Minutes <br /> October 2, 2018 <br /> Page 5 of 10 <br /> ----------------------------- <br /> explained that he would represent whichever fire department gets paged <br /> out for the call. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Tom Nelson informed the Council that the new grass rig amved today and <br /> was sent out to have the emergency lights installed. Mr. Nelson added <br /> the fire department will begin to prepare the old grass rig and the Polaris <br /> ATV to be sold in public auction. <br /> 8. Police Report <br /> The August 2018 Police Department Monthly Report was received by <br /> Council. <br /> 9. Public Works Report <br /> The September 2018 WaterNVastewater Report was received by Council. <br /> 9.1. Maintenance Worker Resignation <br /> The Council acknowledged the resignation of Pete Clement. , <br /> 9.2.A ReQuest to Begin Hirinq Process - Job Description Revision <br /> Nancy Malecha stated the Personnel Committee is recommending the <br /> approval of the revised job description for the Maintenance Worker , <br /> position. '� <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE REVISED <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE MAINTENANCE WORKER POSITION <br /> AS PRESENTED AND BEGIN THE HIRING PROCESS. MAYOR <br /> ADAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.2.B Hire Temporarv Emplovee <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE HIRING <br /> OF JOHN MONNIER AS A TEMPORARY AS NEEDED EMPLOYEE IN <br /> THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT FOR THE 2018-2019 <br /> FALUWINTER SEASON AT AN HOURLY WAGE OF $19.38 WITH NO <br /> BENEFIT PACKAGE. COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
