Clerk's May 2010 Staff Report <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />project. The Commission will also be asking the Council to contribute funding if they do <br />not receive enough donations to complete the project. <br />Economic Development Commission <br />April 20th Meeting .... (Minutes are attached). The EDC spent the entire meeting <br />reviewing the draft of the economic development section of the comp plan. Please see the <br />attached EDC minutes for comments. <br />HRA Minutes <br />April 20th Meeting .... (Minutes are attached) <br />PROJECTS: <br />Elections..... Applications have been mailed to election judges for the upcoming elections. <br />There will be a primary for state and federal offices on August 10th. The City does not <br />have a primary election for Council seats. The General Election will be held on <br />November 2° . This is a Council date, so we will be changing the date of our regular <br />Council meeting during that month. <br />Filing dates for Mayor and Council seats are August 3 rd through August 17th. <br />Tobacco/Liquor License Applications .... The Council will be renewing tobacco and <br />liquor licenses at the June Council meeting. These licenses will take effect on July 1, <br />2010. <br />Clerk's Staff <br />• Reports from the Clerk's staff are attached <br />
