PEQUOT LAKES <br />PARK COMMISSION <br />THURSDAY, APRIL 8, 2010 <br />CITY HALL <br />Members Present: Chair Tweed, Commissioners, Jurchen, DenHartog and, <br />Clement <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Johnson <br />Also Present: Council Member Malecha; Sandy Peine, City Clerk; Mike <br />Loven, Public Works Supervisor; and Mayor Adams <br />Call Meetinq to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Chair Tweed <br />2. Approve Park Commission Minutes <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER CLEMENT TO APPROVE <br />THE MARCH 11, 2010, PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. <br />COMMISSIONER JURCHEN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 4 -0. <br />3. Discussion on Gazebo <br />A. Design presentation by Sam Salfisberg <br />Mr. Salfisberg was unable to attend. <br />B. Decision on Location of Gazebo <br />Report by Council Member Malecha. The Lion's have donated <br />$1,000 for materials and will be supplying the labor. The City has <br />$2,000 in the budget for the project. If the project is done, we will <br />need to dig up the flowers. It was the consensus of the members to <br />build the new gazebo in the same location as to existing one. The <br />Park Commission members stated that they would like to see a <br />quote for the project and a sketch showing materials and design <br />prior to authorizing the project. Council Member Malecha stated <br />she would ask Mr. Salfisberg to provide the project design and cost <br />to the Park Commission members. <br />MOTION BY COMMISSIONER CLEMENT TO BUILDING THE <br />NEW GAZEBO IN THE SAME LOCATION AS THE EXISTING <br />GAZEBO. COMMISSIONER JURCHEN SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4 -0. <br />
