City Council Minutes <br />May 4, 2010 <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />Mike Loven requested the Council to transfer the balance of $411.88 from <br />the Storm Water Fund to the General Fund. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO TRANSFER THE CASH <br />BALANCE OF $411.88 FROM THE STORM WATER FUND TO THE <br />GENERAL FUND AND TO ELIMINATE THE STORM WATER FUND. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 3 -0. <br />9.4.a. Gildner Park Playground Equipment <br />The Park Board is requesting the use of Park Dedication Funds to <br />complete the Gildner Park project. The completion of the project will <br />include materials and labor for playground equipment. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO USE PARK DEDICATION <br />FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS FOR A <br />PLAYGROUND AT GILDNER PARK. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Council Member Ryan questioned if the park dedication money should be <br />used in the vicinity of the development that paid the fee. Scott Pederson <br />stated that the impact of the development encompasses the entire City, <br />and therefore, the funds can be used anywhere within the City. <br />MOTION CARRIED 3 -0. <br />9A.B. Trailside Park Gazebo <br />Mike Loven stated that the Park Board has been working with the Lions in <br />a joint venture to replace the gazebo at Trailside Park. The approximate <br />cost of the project will be $4,500. The City has budgeted $2,000 toward <br />this project. The Clerk indicated that no action is requested. She further <br />stated that the gazebo will be used for the "bands in the park" program. <br />9.5. Sidewalk Bids <br />Mike Loven discussed the issue of repairing the sidewalks at City Hall. He <br />noted that they are in need of replacement. He stated he received two <br />bids for the concrete work and recommended that the Council authorize <br />the work to be done by Bill Rickard who is the low bidder. <br />"I—. <br />
