Ms. Malecha further requested that the City not become a member of the � Coalition for Greater Minnesota Cities (CGMC), as referenced in the letter from Flaherty & Hood, P.A., as the dues are quite expensive and the City utilizes the League of Minnesota Cities as lobbyists at the State level. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE HOURLY RATE CHANGES FROM FLAHERTY� HOOD, P.A. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0 10.4. 2018 Emplovee WaAes COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO APPROVE A STEP INCREASE (2.5%), BASED ON SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE REVIEWS, PLUS A 1% COLA INCREASE FOR NON-UNION EMPLOYEES IN 2018. COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0 10.5. 2018 Health Insurance Rates Nancy Malecha informed the Council that the premiums for the HealthPartners HSA Plan will increase by 6.87% in 2018 and provided a breakdown of the rates. 10.6. Call Special Meetinq for January 16tn Mayor Adams requested a Special City Council Meeting on January 16tn at 6:30 p.m. to discuss goals and project priorities for 2018 and beyond. Tyler Glynn from BLAEDC will facilitate this meeting and department heads and two representatives from the EDC, Park Commission, and Planning Commission will be requested to attend. Mark Jurchen requested the Council consider including the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in this meeting. The consensus of the Council agreed. MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING FOR JANUARY 16, 2018 AT 6:30 P.M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF PRIORITIZING PROJECTS FOR 2018 AND BEYOND. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
