TIF District 1-9 Decertification <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 17- <br /> 42 DECERTIFYING TIF DISTRICT 1-9 -WILD DAISY. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SWANSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5-0. <br /> 10.8. Request for Cable Franchise Authoritv <br /> Nancy Malecha explained that TDS is interested in providing a cable <br /> communication system in the City and added that due to a Joint Powers <br /> Agreement with the Heartland Cable Commission, the Commission will <br /> continue the franchise authority process on the City's behalf if the Council <br /> concurs. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO AFFIRM THE HEARTLAND <br /> CABLE COMMISSION TO PROCEED WITH THE FRANCHISE <br /> AUTHORITY PROCESS, AS REQUESTED BY TDS TELECOM, ON THE <br /> CITY'S BEHALF. MAYOR ADAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA ABSTAINED. <br /> 11. Other Business <br /> There was no other business_ <br /> 12. Adiournment <br /> There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> MOVED TO ADJOURN. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> The meeting of the City Council adjourned at 8:27 p.m. <br />
