AUGUST 3, 2010 PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> 10.1. Resolution Receivin� Feasibility Report and Callin�for Public Hearin� <br /> Tim Houle presented the Feasibility Report for improvements to Wildlife Trail. Del <br /> Anderson was present and gave the city a quote for paving Wildlife Trail that he <br /> received about 8 years ago. Council Member Nagel questioned if the City could accept a <br /> road that is scaled down from city specifications.Tim Houle noted that the road <br /> requirements have already been reduced in the feasibility study. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 10-22 RECEIVING THE <br /> FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR DECEMBER 7T"ON THE <br /> WILDLIFE TRAIL IMPROVEMENT.COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Council Member Ryan questioned why North Sleutter was not addressed in the <br /> feasibility study.Tim Houle explained that the petition was only for Wildlife Trail.Tim <br /> further noted that one side of North Sleutter is in Loon Lake Township and the City <br /> would be unable to assess that portion of the improvement. Council Member Ryan <br /> stated that the City could consider paying for the improvements on the Loon Lake Side <br /> of the road and assess the east side of the road.Tim Houle explained that the Council <br /> can initiate this project. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO INITIATE A PROJECT TO IMPROVE NORTH <br /> SLEUTTER ROAD FROM C.R. 168 TO WILD LIFE TRAIL AND TO REQUEST A PROPOSAL <br /> FROM THE CITY ENGINEER TO COMPLETE THE STUDY OF THE PROJECT. MAYOR <br /> ADAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> SEPTEMBER 7, 2010 PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> 10.1. En�ineerin�Services Proposal for North Sleutter Road Improvements Study <br /> Tim Houle presented a proposal for improvements to a portion of North Sleutter Road at$1,825 <br /> for the improvement study and $950 for the preliminary special assessment assistance.Timing <br /> of the project could work in conjunction with the December public hearing for the Wildlife Trail <br /> project. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 10-24 ORDERING THE <br /> PREPARATION OF THE REPORT ON IMPROVEMENTS TO NORTH SLEUTTER ROAD AND TO <br /> APPROVE THE PROPOSAL FROM WSN FOR NORTH SLEUTTER IMPROVEMENTS ASSESSMENT <br /> PROJECT TO INCLUDE THE IMPROVEMENT STUDY AT$1,825 AND THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT <br /> ASSISTANCE AT$950 WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT, IF THE COUNCIL DOES NOT MOVE <br /> FORWARD WITH THE PROJECT, IT WILL NOT BE NECESSARY TO REQUIRE THE SPECIAL <br /> ASSESSMENT ASSISTANCE AT$950. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED TNE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
