HiAhway 371 Landscape Plannin� Committee <br /> Nancy Malecha asked the Council to consider appointing a Highway 371 <br /> i <br /> Landscape Planning Committee to facilitate in the discussions with <br /> MnDOT for the landscape plantings that will begin in the spring of 2019. <br /> Ms. Malecha added that $300,000 has been budgeted for the landscaping <br /> of the entire Highway 371 Expansion Project area. ' <br /> • August 10, 2017 draft Park Commission minutes <br /> • August 15, 2017 draft EDC minutes <br /> • August 15, 2017 HRA minutes <br /> • August 16, 2017 Pequot Lakes TCI Steering Committee minutes <br /> 10.1. Pedestrian Directory Si�ns License & Maintenance Aareement <br /> Nancy Malecha explained the current agreement in place with Jessie <br /> Jane's Signs and Graphics, LLC for the installation and maintenance of <br /> pedestrian directory signage in the downtown area of the City. Ms. <br /> Malecha noted that she was contacted by Community Action of Pequot <br /> Lakes with their interest in taking over this project as it has been at a <br /> stalemate. <br /> Jessie Nornberg of Jessie Jane's Signs and Graphics stated that she <br /> would need to recover the cost that she has expended thus far with this <br /> project and offered a buyout price of$1,900. Ms. Nornberg agreed that <br /> this has become a stagnant project and stated it was her understanding <br /> that Community Action would be responsible for the marketing of these <br /> signs. Ms. Nornberg added that she would like to retain this sign project <br /> and work with Community Action. <br />
