Call Meeting to Order <br /> 2. Task Force Updates <br /> Economy—Bruce Meade or Mark Jurchen <br /> • Punching fiber into the Business Park. Looking at recommendation to Council on <br /> funding/grant matching. <br /> • Slogan: The Heart of the Good Life is being reviewed by the state. FB page <br /> created. <br /> • Possibility for joining the EDA/HRA to have one association. <br /> Quality of Life—Molly Zins or Jim Park <br /> • Concern was to have a date/time for meeting places and what is going on with the <br /> task forces. <br /> • Pequot Lakes community website will be live soon. Maintenance might be <br /> problematic. Looking for potential site supporters which would have information <br /> on their site for an additional cost and target the retail businesses.Need graphics <br /> for website. <br /> Workforce—Craig Fink or Amy Sjoblad <br /> • The Patriot Foundation hosted the first meeting and moved forward despite little <br /> attendance. <br /> • Shooting to have advisory board for 7-9 people established by August and then <br /> start training with the IF Foundation. <br /> • Put together a brief survey to gain feedback about what a foundation is really <br /> about as well as capture a database. <br /> 3. Community Foundation <br /> a. Update on Partner Fund with Breezy Point—Michelle Kiley <br /> They are continuing to explore opportunities. <br /> • Looking @ gathering space for the public <br /> • Park amenities <br /> • Minute Clinic <br /> b. Pequot Lakes Community Foundation—Kristi Ackley <br />
