Clerk's Staff Report <br />September, 2011 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />CSAH 11 Corridor Study — Attached is a letter from Rob Hall, Crow Wing County <br />Highway Department. The County is requesting participants from Pequot Lakes to attend <br />Task Force Meetings. The first meeting will be on September 29th at 10:00 a.m. at Pequot <br />Lakes City Hall. Mike Loven, Council Member Sjoblad, Mayor Adams, and a <br />representative from the Pequot Lakes Police Department will be attending the first <br />meeting. <br />Market Value Credit Exclusion Meetings — The County has scheduled several <br />meetings for local public officials to attend and learn about the changes in the market <br />value credit program. There is a meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 13th at Pequot <br />Lakes City Hall at 6:30 p.m. The Mayor will call a special Council meeting for that <br />meeting in case we have a quorum of the Council present. The City Council is <br />encouraged to attend to see how the new formula will affect property taxes. <br />Video Taiping Council Meeting - Working with three vendors for pricing on video <br />taping Council meetings for playback on cable TV and for video streaming on the City's <br />web site. The three vendors are Tom's TV, Cascade Computers, and AV Systems <br />Universal Communication Technology. I was hoping to have quotes ready for the <br />October Council meeting, but was not able to get them completed. This item will be on <br />the November Council agenda for Council consideration. <br />Memorandum of Understanding — School District — Attached is a signed <br />Memorandum of Understanding between the School District and the City regarding the <br />school's purchase of a lot in the Industrial Park. <br />Clerk's Staff <br />• Reports from the Clerk's staff are attached <br />M <br />
