Jurisdictional Transfer Agreement— Environment Site Assessment <br /> Obligation <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 17- <br /> 10 RELATED TO THE JURISDICTIONAL TRANSFER AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN CROW WING COUNTY AND THE CITY OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES FOR SEGMENTS OF CSAH 11, CR 112, AND STATE <br /> HIGHWAY 371 BETWEEN CR 107 AND CSAH 17. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.2. Resolution Supporting Dedicated State Funding for City Streets <br /> Nancy Malecha explained the League of Minnesota Cities is supporting an <br /> omnibus transportation funding bill which would raise approximately $57 <br /> million for dedicated state funding of city streets and a portion of this <br /> would be directed to the Small Cities Assistance Account for cities with <br /> populations under 5,000. She asked if the Council would like to consider <br /> adopting a resolution supporting this bill to be sent to our legislators. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 17-11 <br /> SUPPORTING DEDICATED STATE FUNDING FOR CITY STREETS. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.3. Street Quadrant Update <br /> Tim Houle informed the Council that WSN provided rough costs for the <br /> southeast downtown street quadrant the Council discussed at their special <br /> meeting on February 21St. Mr. Houle noted these are per foot costs and <br /> do not include potential land acquisitions that may be needed for right-of- <br /> way or storm drainage. The total street quadrant improvement costs with <br /> design engineering, construction phase services, and contingencies is <br /> $2,383,000. <br /> Council Member Pederson questioned if an improvement to East <br /> Woodman Street and Old Highway 371 could be done separately.
