Pequot Boulevard Partial Payment Estimate No. 3 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO APPROVE PARTIAL <br /> PAYMENT ESTIMATE NO. 3 — FINAL FROM ANDERSON BROTHERS <br /> CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,348.57. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.4. Sluetter Roads <br /> Mayor Adams explained this item was placed on the agenda for the <br /> purpose of reviewing and discussing the Joint Powers Agreement <br /> between the City and Loon Lake Township for the maintenance of North <br /> Sluetter Road. She noted that two property owners addressed the Council <br /> under open forum and no action was directed to Staff. <br /> Council Member Pederson questioned specifics as to the summer <br /> maintenance services provided to North Sluetter Road. <br /> Mike Loven clarified the summer maintenance services consist of grading <br /> and calcium chloride applications which are dependent upon weather <br /> conditions. <br /> Council Member Loukota questioned if North Sluetter Road is listed on the <br /> City's capital improvement plan for improvements. <br /> Mr. Loven noted that this Road is listed on the capital improvement plan <br /> beyond 2025. <br /> Mayor Adams questioned if the City could consider this Road a rustic road <br /> and assess the property owners along the City's portion of the Road if <br /> they submit a petition request. <br /> Nancy Malecha informed the Council that Maury Graham inquired about <br /> the special assessment procedure and petition process this past summer <br /> and was given all the information and forms pertaining to this. At this time, <br /> the City has not received any further information from Mr. Graham on a <br /> petition for improvements to North Sluetter Road. <br />
