Pequot Boulevard Partial Payment Estimate No. 3 <br /> Tim Houle explained that he has not received partial payment estimate <br /> number 3 from Anderson Brothers so he will present this estimate at the <br /> January Council meeting. <br /> 9.4. City of Jenkins Public Works Services Joint Powers Agreement <br /> Mike Loven explained that both entities are requesting a change to the <br /> original Public Works Services Joint Powers Agreement to allow the City <br /> of Pequot Lakes to maintain Meyers Road during the winter and the City <br /> of Jenkins to maintain this Road during the summer. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO APPROVE THE AMENDED <br /> PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH THE <br /> CITY OF JENKINS. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.5 Street Lights Electricity <br /> Council Member Akerson questioned who is responsible for the electricity <br /> costs for the street lights on the new Highway 371 alignment and Jenkins <br /> intersection. Mike Loven explained that MNDOT is paying for the costs <br /> until the highway project is complete. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding who will be responsible for the electricity <br /> costs in the future, which is undecided at this time. <br /> 10. Administration <br /> The following items were received by Council. <br /> • November 10, 2016 draft Park Commission minutes <br /> • November 15, 2016 draft EDC minutes <br /> • November 15, 2016 HRA minutes <br /> 10.1. Statutory Limit Waiver <br /> MAYOR SJOBLAD MOVED NOT TO WAIVE THE STATUTORY TORT <br /> LIMITS. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 10.2. 2017 BLAEDC Agreement <br />
