COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL <br /> FROM DONJEK FOR THE FINANCIAL STUDY OF THE ALTERNATE <br /> ROUTE AT $8,580 WITH THE OPTION OF EXPANDING THE STUDY <br /> TO INCLUDE THE THROUGH TOWN ROUTE. MAYOR MALECHA <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 8. Water/Wastewater Monthly Report <br /> Written report by Tina Nolden. Tina reported that she attended training on <br /> Monday and Tuesday on fire hydrant maintenance. She noted that she will <br /> now be able to service the City's fire hydrants. <br /> 9. Police Chief Monthly Report <br /> Report received by Council. The Mayor questioned the format of the ICR <br /> report. Chief Deputy Ryan explained that there are still some glitches in <br /> the new software and that they would be resolved in the near future. <br /> 9.1. Renew Agreement with School District/Police Department <br /> The Mayor noted that the agreement is a two-year agreement beginning <br /> on June 1, 2007 and ending on June 1, 2009. The cost to the school is <br /> $25,000 per year. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO ENTER INTO THE <br /> POLICE-SCHOOL LIAISON OFFICER AGREEMENT FOR FROM JUNE <br /> 1, 2007 TO JUNE 1, 2009. MAYOR MALECHA SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Mayor Malecha thanked the Police Department for the work done during <br /> the past few weeks. <br /> 11. Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br /> Report by Mike Loven. Street Superintendent Loven was asked about the <br /> sidewalk snow removal. Mr. Loven explained the County snow removal <br /> process on the east and west sides of town. Mr. Loven stated that it is the <br /> responsibility of the commercial businesses to clear the snow from the <br /> sidewalks. The sidewalk by the school was discussed. Also discussed was <br /> the ordinance relating to "No Parking on City Streets 2 AM to 6AM." <br /> 11.1. 2007 Street Improvement Projects <br /> Mike Rude reviewed the three projects. <br />
