COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ENTER INTO THE SCOPE <br /> OF SERVICES FOR DESIGN AND PREPARATION OF DESIGN AND <br /> CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR THE NORTH HALF OF SOUTH <br /> OAK STREET IMPROVEMENTS. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br /> FOR THE 2007 STREET PROJECTS. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> Mr. Rude stated that bids will be advertised in the Echo and in the <br /> Construction, opened on May 9th and possibly approved by the Council on <br /> May 10th at a special meeting following the Board of Review meeting. <br /> 11.2. Lowell Wildlife Area — DNR Project <br /> Mike Loven noted that the DNR is requesting to build an accessible dock <br /> and parking area at the Lowell Wildlife Management Area located on <br /> Nickel Road. He noted the DNR is requesting permission from the City to <br /> place a portion of the parking lot and the steps in City right-of-way. The <br /> DNR will maintain all of the improvements. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO GRANT PERMISSION TO <br /> THE DNR TO PLACE A PORTION OF THE PARKING LOT AND STEPS <br /> IN CITY RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE WILDLIFE PROJECT AT THE <br /> LOWELL WILDLLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA ON NICKEL ROAD. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 12. City Engineer <br /> No items from the Engineer other than the 2007 road improvements. <br /> 13. Other Business <br /> There was no other business. <br /> 14.
