Consider Bids for Shop Floor Renovation <br /> Mike Loven indicated that the City received two bids for the shop floor <br /> renovation from Hy-Tec and Rickard and Sons. Tim Houle reviewed the <br /> project specifications and the bids. Tim noted that the bid from Rickard <br /> and Sons was incomplete, as it did not respond to the bid specifications. <br /> He recommended that the bid be awarded to Hy-Tec using the 6" drains at <br /> $56,276. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AWARD THE BID FOR THE <br /> SHOP FLOOR RENOVATION USING THE 6" DRAINS AT $56,276. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 10.3. West Grove Street <br /> Mike Loven updated the Council of the costs associated with the Sibley <br /> Terrace Project. He indicated that the Council previously forgave all City <br /> fees related to the project. The City cost for street repairs associated with <br /> water-hook ups is $5,065. <br /> 10.4. Road Review <br /> Mike reminded the Council of the road review on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. <br /> 10.5. Locksmith <br /> Mike Loven requested to waive the requirement for getting quotes for a <br /> locksmith at the new city hall. He noted that the cost would be about <br /> $3,500. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE STAFF <br /> TO HIRE THE LOCKSMITH FOR CITY HALL AND TO WAIVE THE <br /> QUOTE PROCESS. COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 10.6. Crack Filling <br /> Mike Loven requested authorization to proceed with the rubberized crack <br /> filling at $6,000 with the funds to come from the capital outlay budget. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br /> RUBBERIZED CRACKFILLING. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br />
