City Council Minutes Page 6 May 4, 2004 11.1. Water/Wastewater Monthly Report Brett Twardy presented the monthly report. 11.2. Review Preliminary Studies on Wastewater Treatment Spray Site Brett Twardy questioned whether the Council wants to move forward on this process. Council discussion pursued regarding what was driving this need. It was decided that there is not an immediate need for this study. It was also noted that the City of Jenkins purchasing sewer capacity from Pequot Lakes could spur the need. It was suggested that the City should have a long-range plan. It was the consensus that Council Member Sjoblad, Brett Twardy and Tim Houle review the issue and bring it back to the Council at a later date. 11.3. Request To Resleeve Sewer Line COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO GO OUT FOR BIDS TO RESLEEVE THE SEWER LINE FROM THE SCHOOL TO LIFT STATION #1. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. 12. City Engineer Tim Houle provided an update of current engineering services. 13.6. Premise Permits for Pestello's and Timber Jack Smoke House by Central Lakes Youth Hockey The City Clerk noted that the City charges a fee of $200 per premise permit. She indicated that after reviewing state statute that this fee is not allowed and recommended that the fee be dropped. The Council concurred. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 04- 011 APPROVING PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL FOR CENTRAL LAKES YOUTH HOCKEY TO OPERATE PULL TABS AT PESTELLO'S FROM JUNE 31, 2004 TO JUNE 31, 2006. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 04- 012 APPROVING PREMISE PERMIT FOR CENTRAL LAKES YOUTH HOCKEY TO OPERATE PULL TABS AT TIMBER JACK SMOKE HOUSE. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
