COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 5. HRA Update <br /> Sharon Thurlow presented the Council with an update on HRA projects <br /> including the West Grove senior living town homes, two affordable homes <br /> on Gravdahl Drive that were associated with the Central Minnesota <br /> Housing Partnership program, and the renovation of Parkview 1 and 2 <br /> projects. She also introduced members of the HRA that were present. <br /> The Mayor thanked the HRA for their efforts in making these projects <br /> happen in Pequot Lakes. <br /> 6. JOBZ — Business Subsidy Agreement— Public Hearing <br /> Sheila Haverkamp noted that the JOBZ subcommittee consisting of the <br /> City Clerk, herself, Council Member Ryan and Council Member Bolz- <br /> Andolshek reviewed the business subsidy policy. Sheila presented the <br /> Council with the recommendations from the subcommittee. Mayor <br /> Malecha opened the public hearing. There were no comments from the <br /> public. Mayor Malecha closed the public hearing. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE BUSINESS <br /> SUBSIDY AGREEMENT INCLUDING A TWELVE-YEAR TIME FRAME <br /> FOR JOBZ ZONES, TO APPOINT SANDY PEINE AS THE SUBZONE <br /> ADMINISTRATOR, TO INCLUDE A $1,000 APPLICATION FEE AND TO <br /> PARTICIPATE IN THE REGION FIVE FEE SCHEDULE. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7- <br /> 0. <br /> 8. Fire Chief Update <br /> Chief Nelson presented the Fire Department report for April, 2004. <br /> 9.1. Monthly Police Report <br /> Chief Forsberg presented the monthly police report for April. <br /> 9.2. Replacement for Officer Gerner <br />
