CLASS STORM WATER LAND USE CLASSIFICATIONS REF <br /> 1. Vacant .20 <br /> 2. Residential 1.0 <br /> 3. Light Density, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional 1.6 <br /> 3- 4. Medium Density, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional 2.3 <br /> 47 5. Heavy Density Commercial, Industrial & Institutional 4.0 <br /> For the purpose of calculating storm water drainage fees Management <br /> charges, actual acreage shall be used except for those parcels having a storm <br /> water land use classification of"Residential". As "Residential"parcels are the <br /> most numerous, and to simplify the process, the storm water drainage fcc <br /> management charge for all parcels classified as "Residential" shall be calculated <br /> using acreage of.333 acres, or 1/3, regardless of their actual acreage. <br /> 2. Other Land Usage. Other land uses not listed in the foregoing table shall <br /> be classified by the Roads & Streets Department assigning them to classes most <br /> nearly like the uses, from the standpoint of run off volume for the standard <br /> rainfall event. An appeal of such classification from the determination of the <br /> Roads& Streets Department may be made to the City Council within sixty (60) <br /> days following the mailing of the classification to the owner. <br /> 3. Adjustments. The City Council may by resolution adopt policies <br /> providing for the adjustment of charges for parcels based upon land use data <br /> supplied by affected property owners which demonstrates a run off volume for a <br /> standard rainfall event substantially different from the REF being used for such <br /> parcels (such adjustment for storm water drainage fees management charges shall <br /> not be made retroactively). A credit of up to 50% of the storm water <br /> management charges may be given if the property owner has or develops on-site <br /> retention of the storm water. <br /> 4. Exemption. Public street right-of-way is exempt from storm water <br /> drainage charges. <br /> Section 15-3. 3. PAYMENT OF FEES-CHARGES <br /> 1. Fccs Charges. Statements for storm water drainage fees management <br /> charges shall be made a part of the present utility billing system invoiced through <br /> the City Clerk's Office for the City of Pequot Lakes on a quafterly monthly or <br /> annual basis. <br /> 2. Recalculation of EeeCharge. If a property owner or person responsible for <br /> paying the storm water drainage-fee management charge questions the accuracy <br /> of an invoice, such person may have the determination of the charge recalculated <br /> by written request to the City Council within sixty(60) days following the <br /> mailing of the invoice by the City. <br />
