Water Deut.
Operations and Maintenance Continued:
• Feb 19', delivered 19 water/sewer bill delinquent notices.
• Feb 21 St, received calls from John Ryan, Mike Loven and Tom Jones about the water
leak at 30713 State Hwy 371 (north of Oasis Bldg) I called Lee Bundy (PRASD
Manager) who was on-call, and asked him to check it out for me and report back. I then
made a call to GSOC for an emergency locate knowing it would need to be repaired
soon. Lee called to inform me it wasn't too bad, could probably wait until Tuesday, said
he put caution tape around the area and informed the employees at Sarie's Restaurant. I
called Al DeChantal and asked if he would be able to do the work. He went in to check
it out and called to inform me it should be addressed today. I went in and verified the
situation, and asked A1 to perform the work. I contacted the DQ, Sarie's Restaurant, and
the Speedstop Gas Station and Laundromat to inform them we would need to shut the
water off to do the work. We had the water shut off from 330pm to 6:OOpm. Luckily,
the restaurant closed at 2:OOpm. However, the DQ had to shut their doors. They were
normally open until 8:OOpm. It appears the problem is between the new curbstop and
the north end of the bldg. We were finally able to close the curbstop valve and get the
water back on to the bldg by 6:OOpm.
• Feb 22°d, called Mike Loven and asked for the job print. Kurt Eckardt met me over at
the Oasis Bldg and explained what he remembered was done. He also gave me the job
print. I made some copies and gave the original back to Mike.
Wastewater Dept.
I. Facilitv Performance:
a. CBOD Concentration
Influent — 440 mg/1
Effluent — mg/1
b.
