Facilitv Performance: Average daily gallons pumped: 85,000 gallons Maximum daily gallons pumped: 115,000 gallons Minimum daily gallons pumped: 55,000 gallons Total monthly gallons pumped: 1,784,000 gallons (As of the 22nd) Average daily chlorine concentration: 0.4 mg/1 Required chlorine concentration: 0.2 to 0.5 mg/1 *Average daily fluoride concentration: 0.8 mg/1* '�Required fluoride conceotration: 0.9 mg/1 to 1.5 mg/1* *The NIDH is currently reviewing the pros and cons of fluoride addition and are looking at lowering the required amount to a range of 0.6 mg/1 to 1.0 mg/1* Treatment Chemicals Used for the Month: 19.0 lbs Chlorine 4.8 gals Fluoride � 4.3 lbs Potassium Permanganate II. Ouerations and Maintenance: • The MN Department of Health Monthly Fluoridation Report was completed and submitted. • Feb 1 S`, signed off on 18 Water Disconnection Notice Letters. Also, attended City Council Meeting. •*Feb 2°d, Dave Schultz with the MDH, stopped in for our Annual Water Testing. He collected water samples from the WTP and several out in our distribution system. All tests were satisfactory. He informed me the MDH is diligently working on lowering the required amount of fluoride from the range of 09 mg/1-1.5 mg/1 to the range of 0.6 mg/1-1.0 mg/1 and they hope to have it "officially" pass by late summer.* • Feb 3`d, attempted taking the Knowledge Tests for the Class B License and Air-Brakes Endorsement, but received only 74% and need 80% for a passing score. • Feb 8�', attended monthly budget meeting • Feb 9�', I had Dawn laminate a couple fire hydrant maps for me to share with the Fire Dept. • Feb 15th, DPC delivered fluoride and chlorine to the WTP. • Feb 17�', met with Tom Ryan at the WTP and discussed the operations in the Water/Wastewater Dept. Mike Fynboh with Cascade Computers stopped in to set my computer up for the public calendar and digital dashboard. Took my Class B and Air- Brakes tests again and finally passed with 89%. I now have my Commercial Driver's � Permit which is good for six months. I will need to practice driving our commercial vehicles to prepare for the Skills Test (Driver's Test). Once I pass the Skills Test, I will have my Class B Commercial Driver's License, with Tanker and Air-Brake Endorsements.
