CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT—DEBORA SUE TEASCK <br /> F. Martinson called the Public Hearing to order at 6:45 p.m. <br /> The purpose of the Public Hearing was to consider approval for a Conditional <br /> Use Permit for the construction of an Animal Hospital located in the Pequot <br /> Lakes Industrial Park, Lot 1, Block 4. <br /> Present was Dr. D. Teasck and Tom Bircher of Bircher Construction. Mr. <br /> Bircher presented the Commission with a plan of the building and parking lot. <br /> He explained the building would be stucco with stone on the entry. <br /> F. Martinson explained the conditions to be included in the Conditional Use <br /> Permit. The first item was the approval of the Conditional Use Permit, as the <br /> Land Use Classification does not allow for an animal facility in the Industrial <br /> Park. <br /> F. Martinson asked the Commission if there were any questions regarding the <br /> Conditional Use Permit. He then asked for a motion to approve the Permit. <br /> MOTION BY T. SACCOMAN AND SECONDED BY G. WELU TO <br /> APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. MOTION CARRIED <br /> UNINAMOUSLY. <br /> There was discussion regarding the building size. F. Martinson explained that <br /> the building size in the Industrial Park should to be a minimum of 5,000 <br /> square feet. The Animal Hospital is 2,600 square feet. <br /> F. Martinson asked the Commission for a motion to approve the difference in <br /> the size of the building. <br /> MOTION BY G. WELU AND SECONDED BY C. CLARKE TO <br /> APPROVE THE BUILDING SIZE REDUCTION. MOTION CARRIED <br /> UNINAMOUSLY. <br />
