POST OFFICE REQUESTING AN ADDITIONAL MAILBOX
Present was Theresa Heartstein, the postmaster of the Pequot Lakes Post
Office. The Post Office would like to install an additional mailbox to make it
more accessible for motorist to drop off their mail.
Heartstein explained that the original plans to install an island for the mailbox
had fallen through. She had stated that a mailbox be could be installed at the
expense of the Post Office although there was not enough money in the
budget for an island and curbing.
After discussing the situation, the Commission decided the best place for the
mailbox would be in the alley between the Post Office and Norwest/Wells
Fargo Bank. It was suggested that cement pillars be installed around the
mailbox to ensure safety.
Martinson stated he would approach the City Council and ask for assistance
in funding the cement posts if the Post Office could not manage to pay.
PROPOSED DALBECK HOUSE
Mr. Dalbeck of 3808 W. Grove Street showed the Commission plans he had
for the construction of a new home and garage. He explained that he had the
property surveyed to ensure the set backs and all requirements were being
met.
PROPOSED OFFICE BUILDING— BRUNES ROYCE
DEVEOLPMENT
A site plan for an office building located in the Brunes Royce Development,
Block 1, Lot 1, was presented to the Commission.
