Cathy Malecha suggested we <br /> discuss this Ordinance further with the City of Pequot Lakes during our combined meeting in September. <br /> Cathy will send a copy of the document to our attorney for legal council. Karl suggested handrail with 4 ft <br /> spacing. Karl Moon made a motion to strike railing from the Ordinance,Motion seconded by Mark Hallen, <br /> no vote. <br /> Karl Moon made a motion to cross out slip,add mooring spaces. It would require a conditional use for <br /> more then 2 mooring spaces. Barb Sjoblad seconded,all ayes,motion carried. <br /> Mark Hallen stated that we are already limiting the dock to 75 ft and thus leaving the resident the option of <br /> using said dock to his discretion. Mark said he would lice to obtain more information from surrounding <br /> area and discuss this further with the City of Pequot Lakes in September. <br /> Karl Moon made a motion to table further action on this Ordinance until after our combined meeting with <br /> the City of Pequot Lakes Planning Commission on September 20,2001 at the Sibley Township Hall. Barb <br /> Sjoblad seconded the motion,all ayes,motion carried. <br /> Camping Ordinance <br /> Crow Wing County Camping Ordinance attached. The Ordinance states 8 ft wide campers. Ron Stenstrom <br /> states a new regulation has been adopted by the State which now is 9 ft wide campers. <br /> Mark suggested the following: <br /> 1. Cathy write a letter to Crow Wing County to ask if they will be amending their Travel Trailer <br /> and Camping Ordinance. <br /> 2. Need definition of full-cut unit <br /> Karl Moon made a motion to recommend to the Sibley Township Board of Supervisors to adopt the Crow <br /> Wing County Travel Trailer and Camping Ordinance by reference. Gary Gunderson seconded the motion, <br /> all ayes,motion carried. <br /> Accessory Structures <br /> Section 70-080 <br /> 1. No accessory building or structure shall be constructed on any lot prior to the <br /> construction of the principle building to which it is accessory,on lots zoned Rural <br /> Residential(RR)and Residential(R-1). <br /> Martin Nelson made a motion to recommend to the Sibley Township Board of Supervisors,to add the <br /> wording,without a conditional use permit. Motion seconded by Barb Sjoblad,all ayes,motion carried. <br /> Dan Helbling <br /> Mr.Helbling wishes to purchase the NE Corner of Evergreen Development from Mike Arvig. His proposal <br /> is to erect 8 structures which could be four-plexes,tri-plexes,duplexes,on the property. This would be <br /> possible if there would be a density transfer from the present owners of Evergreen Development if the <br /> density would be different then on the original plat. Mr. Helbling stated the ownership of the project would <br /> be independent of the rest of Evergreen and would fall into the original conditions of the PUD(if not it <br /> would have to be re-zoned). The units would abide by the set-backs,septic and parking,there would be no <br /> garages or storage units on site. The units would be managed by Grand View,however,Mr.Helbling <br /> would be the owner. The units would be rented out weekly to tie in with golf packages provided by Grand <br /> View Lodge. Trees from on-site would be used for buffer and the project would have to fit in with the <br /> Sibley Township Ordinance. Storm water run-off would be addressed and impervious surface. The Board <br /> felt it would be best for the township if green space remained along the 371 corridor as per the residents of <br /> the township. A definition of transcient is needed. <br /> Dan would have his legal council look over the project,then present to the Planning Commission. The <br /> Planning Commission would like to see a written policy from Grand View on management procedures and <br /> policies of operation. <br />
