MAYOR <br />ADAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />The Council requested to add this item to the October Council agenda. <br />9.2. North Washinqton Street Desiqn Concepts <br />Tim Houle reviewed street concepts with the Council. Council discussion <br />was held regarding the two concepts provided by WSN. Peter and Jean <br />Herzog were present and noted that they are residential homeowners on <br />the corner of Oriole and Washington. Mr. Herzog stated that if a sidewalk <br />were placed in front of his home the City's ordinance would require him to <br />keep the snow removed from the sidewalk. He indicated that he does not <br />mind a sidewalk but does not want to maintain the sidewalk. Mr. Herzog <br />further stated that he was disappointed that he was not informed of the <br />proposed road improvement. He also reminded the Council of the <br />� elevation and the water problems in the area. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO APPROVE THE ONE WAY <br />DESIGN BUT TO DESIGN THE PROJECT SO THAT A SIDEWALK CAN <br />BE ADDED IN THE FUTURE. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Discussion was held regarding where curb and gutter would be installed. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER WITHDREW MOTION. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER PEDERSON WITHDREW HIS SECOND. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO USE THE ONE-WAY <br />STREET CONCEPT WITH CURB AND GUTTER UP TO ORIOLE AND <br />TO RESOLVE THE WATER ISSUE. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED THAT THE SIDEWALK IN THE <br />DRAWINGS IN THE ONE WAY STREET BE INCLUDED IN THE PLAN. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD WITH DREW HIS MOTION. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER AKERSON WITHDREW HIS SECOND. <br />�. <br />
