COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED THAT THE CITY COLLECT PAYMENT OR THAT A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT BE MADE BY SEPTEMBER 30 OR THE LEASE WILL BE TERMINATED. MAYOR ADAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. The Council requested to add this item to the October Council agenda. 9.2. North Washinqton Street Desiqn Concepts Tim Houle reviewed street concepts with the Council. Council discussion was held regarding the two concepts provided by WSN. Peter and Jean Herzog were present and noted that they are residential homeowners on the corner of Oriole and Washington. Mr. Herzog stated that if a sidewalk were placed in front of his home the City's ordinance would require him to keep the snow removed from the sidewalk. He indicated that he does not mind a sidewalk but does not want to maintain the sidewalk. Mr. Herzog further stated that he was disappointed that he was not informed of the proposed road improvement. He also reminded the Council of the � elevation and the water problems in the area. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO APPROVE THE ONE WAY DESIGN BUT TO DESIGN THE PROJECT SO THAT A SIDEWALK CAN BE ADDED IN THE FUTURE. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. Discussion was held regarding where curb and gutter would be installed. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER WITHDREW MOTION. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON WITHDREW HIS SECOND. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO USE THE ONE-WAY STREET CONCEPT WITH CURB AND GUTTER UP TO ORIOLE AND TO RESOLVE THE WATER ISSUE. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED THAT THE SIDEWALK IN THE DRAWINGS IN THE ONE WAY STREET BE INCLUDED IN THE PLAN. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD WITH DREW HIS MOTION. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON WITHDREW HIS SECOND. �.
