Rezoninq Request from Aqriculture to Forest Manaqement by Leanne <br />Evenson <br />Staff report by Chuck Marohn. The applicant is proposing to rezone the <br />southern 12.56 acres of the property located at 32602 County Road 11 <br />from Agriculture to Forest Management. The Planning Commission <br />recommends that the Council approve the rezoning request. <br />6.3. Rezoninq from Forest Manaqement to Rural Residential & Commercial bv <br />� Charles and Beverly Peterson ^ <br />Staff report by Chuck Marohn. The applicant is proposing to rezone two <br />separate areas of their property located at the south intersection of Hurtig <br />Road and County Road 168. The applicants are requesting to rezone 6.63 <br />acres west of Hurtig Road from Forest Management to Rural Residential <br />and 2.18 acres from Forest Management to Commercial. The Planning <br />Commission recommends that the Council approve the rezoning request. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 13-04 <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP FOR THE EVENSON <br />PROPERTY AND THE CHARLES PETERSON PROPERTY. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4- <br />0. <br />6.4. Trailside Park Acquisition <br />Chuck Marohn stated that the Planning Commission has considered the <br />merits of the City acquiring the north side of the Trailside Park from the <br />DNR and recommends approval. The Clerk noted that the Park <br />Commission also reviewed the request and recommends that the Council <br />move forward with the purchase. The cost of the property is $3,547.52. <br />�. <br />
