MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br />4. Open Forum <br />Jack Schmidt, a resident of Pequot Lakes, commented on the Sibley <br />Township/Pequot Lakes annexation that occurred in 2002. His issue was <br />with the disparity in the urban and rural taxing districts. <br />5. Presentations <br />5.1. Wellhead Plan Public Hearinq <br />Mark Wettlaufer with the MN Dept of Health addressed the Council <br />regarding the Wellhead Protection Plan for the City of Pequot Lakes. He <br />explained that the purpose of the plan is to proactively prevent <br />contaminants from entering the public water supply. <br />Mayor Adams opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to <br />� the matter, Mayor Adams closed the public hearing. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO SEND THE WELLHEAD <br />PROTECTION PLAN TO THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH <br />FOR FINAL REVIEW AND APPROVAL. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />10.2. Temporarv 3.2% On-Sale Beer License <br />The Clerk noted that the Red Line Club is requesting a temporary 3.2% <br />on-sale beer license to sell 3.2% beer on July 3�d in conjunction with the <br />Stars and Stripes celebration. Sue Galligan was present representing the <br />Red Line Club. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO GRANT A TEMPORARY <br />3.2% BEER LICENSE FOR THE RED LINE CLUB ON JULY 3, 2013. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br />5.2 Citv Audit <br />Doug Host and Mary Reedy from CliftonLarsonAllen presented the 2012 <br />City Audit. Doug Host noted that the audit went very well and that there <br />`� was a clean opinion on the financial statement. <br />
