._ <br />� <br />City Council Minutes <br />Apri12, 2013 <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />----------------------------- <br />Dawn Bittner requested the Council to reassign funds that are in the <br />Planning and Zoning Capital Outlay Carryover fund to purchase office <br />furniture. She noted that the funds were to be used for the comp plan <br />update but are no longer needed as the plan has already been updated. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO REASSIGN $4,750 IN THE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING CAPITAL OUTLAY CARRYOVER FROM THE <br />COMP PLAN UPDATE TO OFFICE FURNITURE. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />6.4. Accept Planninq Commission Resignation <br />COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER MOVED TO ACCEPT J.J. <br />LEVENSKE'S RESIGNATION FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />TO BECOME EFFECTIVE AFTER THE MAY, 2013 PLANNING <br />COMMISSION MEETING. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />7. Fire <br />Fire reports received by Council. <br />8. Police <br />8.1. Reassiqnment of Funds <br />Chief Eric Klang requested the Council to assign the remaining 2012 <br />budget funds to capital outlay carryover for part-time officers. There is <br />approximately $6,000 remaining from the 2012 police budget. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ASSIGN $6,000 FROM THE <br />2012 POLICE BUDGET TO THE 2013 POLICE CAPITAL OUTLAY <br />CARRYOVER FUND. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />9.1. Maintenance Worker Probationarv Period <br />Mike Loven noted that Pete Clement's probation period will expire on April <br />17, 2013. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE <br />COMPLETION OF PETE CLEMENT'S 6-MONTH PROBATION PERIOD <br />AND AUTHORIZED A 1.25% COLA INCREASE AT STEP 6 OF THE <br />� 2013 PAY STRUCTURE BEGINNING APRIL 17, 2013. COUNCIL <br />
