Open Forum <br />There was no one present for Open Forum. <br />5. Presentations <br />Request bv Chamber — Band in the Park <br />Jenna Crawford of the Chamber requested the Council to allow a band to <br />play at Trailside Park until midnight on July 3�d. She stated that the band <br />will be part of the July 4th festivities. <br />The Clerk explained that the music being played after 10 pm would be a <br />violation of City's nuisance ordinance if the area is zoned residential. The <br />Trailside Park is zoned mixed use which does allow residential use. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE REQUEST <br />FOR A BAND TO PLAY IN TRAILSIDE PARK ON JULY 3RD UNTIL <br />� <br />MIDNIGHT. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Council Member Akerson asked if there have been any previous <br />complaints. The Mayor suggested that a letter be given to residents by <br />Chamber and Chief of Police informing them of the music in the park on <br />July 3�d <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />6.1 Planninq Commission Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />6.2. Wellhead Protection Plan Review <br />Dawn Bittner gave a review of why the City must have a wellhead <br />protection plan. She noted that the City first adopted the plan in 2003 and <br />it must be amended every ten years. She explained what the City does to <br />monitor the areas around the drinking water management area. Council <br />Member Sjoblad noted that Dawn's work on the Wellhead Protection Plan <br />has been noted by the State. <br />� <br />6.3. Request to Reassiqn Funds <br />
