SACCOMAN AND SECONDED BY J.
THOMPSON THAT THE MINUTES OF THE MAY 18, 1999 BE
APPROVED WITH CORRECTIONS. MOTION CARRIED
UNANIMOUSLY.
ADDITION OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDING ON GRANDMA'S ATTIC
PROPERTY
The issue was tabled until the July meeting. The applicant, Diane
Cummings was absent.
PROPOSED REZONING OF JERRY WALLIN PROPERTY
N 1/2 of Lot 1, Block 2, Pequot
David Elsen Peter of Lakes State Bank had contacted the Clerk's
Office and stated that the bank would be interested in purchasing this 50 ft.
lot to be used for an additional parking area, providing it be zoned
commercial. The clerk agreed to pose the zoning issue to the Commission on
an informal basis as the purchase agreement is still pending.
Representing Jerry Wallin was Brian Wallin of Positive Realty in
Nisswa who requested that the property be rezoned from residential to
commercial. He voiced concern that the lot is too small to build on and the
present home on the property is in need of renovation.
T. SACCOMAN suggested that he
gg sell the property to a developer to build a
new home. It was also suggested that Mr. Wallin inquire about selling the
property to one of the adjoining home owners.
