MINUTES <br /> PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING <br /> FEBRUARY 15,2007 <br /> PRESENT: Tom Woog, Tom Adams, John Derksen, Bill Habein, Mark Hallan, Scott <br /> Pederson, Roger Varilek and Dean Williams. ABSENT: None. <br /> CITY PLANNER: Charles Marohn, PE. <br /> ZONING ADMINISTRATOR: Dawn Bittner. <br /> CITY COUNCIL LIAISON: Craig Nagel. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Tom Woog at 7:45 p.m. <br /> ELECTION OF OFFICERS: <br /> A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by Mark Hallan, to nominate Tom <br /> Woog as Chairman and Tom Adams as Vice-Chair. All members voted "aye". Motion <br /> carried. <br /> APPLICANT: Dan Helbling <br /> Applicant requests an Amendment to the Conditional Use Permit for the RV Resort <br /> Village at the Preserve. <br /> Applicant was present, as well as his representative, Tim Moore of WSN. Mr. Marohn <br /> explained the Staff Report. This design adds eleven units to the previously approve plan. <br /> A letter from MnDOT has requested the access for the private residence be closed. This <br /> private access will be used for the manager's home. The residence being added to the <br /> plat will be demolished. Finding of Fact No. 23 needs to be modified as there is 1 <br /> dwelling unit. 1.9 acres are being added with 11 units. Access to Hurtig Road has been <br /> moved to the south. <br /> A condition should be added regarding the private road. Lonny Thomas, Mr. Helbling's <br /> attorney, and City Attorney Sandelin are to determine if the conditions are included in the <br /> Declaration or the Association Documents. <br /> A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by Tom Adams,to recommend <br /> approval of the Conditional Use Permit, based on the following 47 Findings of Fact: <br /> 1.
