SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br /> TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2014 <br /> PEQUOT LAKES CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Mayor Adams, Council Members Sjoblad, Akerson, and <br /> Pederson <br /> Members Absent: Council Member Gardner <br /> Staff Present: Sandra Peine, City Clerk; Brandon Fitzsimmons, City <br /> Attorney; Eric Kiang, Chief of Police; and Chad Turcotte, <br /> Police Sergeant <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Mayor Adams called the meeting of the Pequot Lakes City Council to <br /> order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> 1.1. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Mayor Adams led with the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE AGENDA <br /> AS AMENDED. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 3. Consider Internal Affairs Data Relating to Allegations of Law Enforcement <br /> Personnel Misconduct Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.05, <br /> Subdivision 2 (a) 2 <br /> Mayor Adams noted that this section of the meeting will be closed <br /> pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 13D.05 subdivision 3(b). <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO CLOSE THE MEETING. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 4-0. <br /> The Council went into closed session at 6:02 p.m. <br /> The closed session was electronically recorded. <br />
